Parent Coordinator position was created to be the front line in
facilitating communication between parents, teachers, and staff. The Parent Coordinator of PS41 is Michele Farinet. She can be reached at MFarinet@schools.nyc.gov
The Parent Coordinator is available to 41 families for drop-in meetings, as
well as appointments if you would like to schedule one in advance.
Please bring any concerns, questions, or issues to her attention — and
she will direct you through the proper channels for the best resolution
to the situation.
Do NOT send the Parent Coordinator any resumes or employment
inquiries. You must contact the Payroll Secretary, Nancy Mingione, about
PS41, we are a cooperative community. It is not always necessary to see
the Principal or Assistant Principals about a concern or issue. The
Parent Coordinator, teacher or a Guidance Counselor is typically the
first step in contact with the school. If necessary, the Principal or
Assistant Principals will be brought in.
