The tradition of parent involvement at PS41 is one of our greatest strengths. All PTA events, activities and projects are the result of the efforts of parent volunteers and provide funding for the many programs for which PS41 is known and cherished. Whether you can give time, resources or straightforward donations — we couldn’t do it without the generous support of our wonderful PS41 community.
If you’re interested in helping out in any PTA event, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the PTA office to learn more about a specific fundraiser.
Annual Auction & Gala - March 21, 2017
Our biggest event of the year! An elegant and fun evening out in March - cocktails, dinner, a silent and a live auction. From soliciting donations to organizing the auction, everyone’s help is needed for our biggest, most important fundraiser of the year.
Art & Poetry Calendar - on sale before the holidays
During the Fall, the PTA creates and sells a beautiful calendar full of artwork and poetry from the budding student artists and poets of PS41.
Book Fair - December 5-9, 2016 & May 15-19, 2017
Join our students in celebrating the joy of reading during our week-long December and May book fairs. All students visit the fair with their class (your child's teacher will let you know when the class is scheduled). Students are also invited to shop with their families and friends in the morning before school starts. Volunteers are needed daily throughout the fair.
During these weeks, 41Cares runs a gently used book drive. Books are donated to Bellevue’s Reachout and Read program.
Fall Fling - October 18, 2016
Reconnect with fellow PS41 parents and meet new ones! Parents enjoy a Fall night out with fellow PS41 parents and PS41 teachers and staff members.
Family Portraits - November 4-6, 2016
Just in time for the holidays. Each year in November the PTA organizes a weekend when families can have portraits taken by a professional photographer for holiday cards and gifts. Robyn Selman, Creative Director, Photo Producer and PS41 parent lends her award winning commercial photography team to PS41.
Monster Mash - October 29, 2016
Our Halloween extravaganza in late October is one of the most anticipated and beloved school events of the year. There’s something for students of all ages: arts & crafts, games, haunted house, gross-out room, bake sale and more! Dedicated volunteers are needed to help organize games, crafts, food, music and more.
Photo Day - September 27-28, 2016
Every Fall, professional class and individual student pictures are coordinated by the PTA. Volunteers organize photo packages, forms and payments and also assist the children to make sure smiles are big! Your child's teacher will let you know when your child's class will be taking photos. A make-up date is scheduled for those who were absent or whose smiles wasn’t perfect the first time.
